A great Southwest Region Conference is shaping up just 60 miles to our south (OK, about 100 for some of us) - a comfortable day drive for a la carte attendance, and an even more comfortable experience if you stay in one of the Resort rooms for one or two nights. The final schedule of daily activities will soon be posted on the website and also included in your next issue of Southwest Breezes. Also check the Pikes Peak Chapter website at www.pikespeakcsi.org. I encourage all Chapter members including, but not limited to (how's that for archi-speak?), board members and committee chairs, to look at your calendars and set aside time for one or more days or activities at the Southwest Region Conference. As usual, there are Early Bird advantages to signing up soon, and a CSI discounted rate for Resort rooms. Good for you, good for CSI, good for Denver.

CSI Denver Chapter Symposium
March 9, 2010 from 1pm to 9pm flyer
DoubleTree Hotel and Conference Center at Stapleton map
In an effort to provide the best Symposium possible to accommodate our needs and expectations for a rewarding show, we are changing things around a little for this year’s event. The Symposium will be held at a new location, the Doubletree Hotel – Stapleton (I-70 & Quebec) March 9, 2010. The Doubletree will avail us to a larger, more accommodating venue. For our Industry participants, you will have a more comfortable 10’ X 10’ booth space in which to display and present your products and services.
At this year’s Symposium we will be adding two additional seminars, two Educational - two Technical, and starting at 1:00pm instead of 4:00pm. The earlier start time will allow you the opportunity to attend additional seminars and spend more time at our Industry members' booths. Thank you to Tom Sanders, Anne Johnson, and Greg Markling for their efforts in arranging the best sessions possible. Dinner will start at the usual time of 7:00 p.m., with an excellent Keynote presentation followed by dessert in the booth hall.
Professional Members; this year we have a foyer area outside the exhibit and dinner hall available for display of your prized project. We are keeping this to an easel type display, with a limited amount available. First Come - First Served. As this is a trial idea that may be included in future Symposia, there is no display charge for an invited Professional. We will, however, be grateful for your donation for this service. If you are interested and not invited, there will be a charge for attendance and dinner.
All information concerning the sessions and keynote address are on this website. I ask all members to give this year’s “Denver Design Symposium” sincere considerations for your participation, and also schedule this event in for March 2011. An accompanying flyer is provided for you to print, file, and post in your office. For booth reservations, chapter sponsorship, and additional information, please contact Dean Leschak, dleschak@kwalpaint.com; Dan June, dpjune@gapac.com or Jackie Ninneman, jninneman@qwestoffice.net.
We look forward to a very successful Symposium 2010.
